Fully automatic servo controlled Pipe Beveling Machine SPM-115

T-DRILL's new fully automatic servo controlled Pipe Beveling Machine SPM-115 is designed for flat sealing of copper and brass tubes. The machine has a fast cycle time, typical process time is only ~20-45 seconds depending on the technical specifications of the tube.

Once the pipe is loaded, the clamps are closed and the rotary tool is automatically fed towards the pipe end. The friction between the rotary tool and the pipe heats the pipe end and quickly gives it a flat shape. It is also very quick to adjust the machine when the product changes: the clamps are changed according to the pipe size, the program to be used is selected from the library and the machine automatically makes the correct adjustments. The user-friendly GUI with color touch panel visually guides the operator step by step.

The operation is fully electric, without hydraulics and pneumatics. This results in energy efficiency, high repeatability and lower process loss. The SPM-115 is also very quiet with a noise level of less than 75 dB.
