The Power Notcher PND-54 Notching Device is a pneumatic power-induced device used to cut and slot branch pipe ends before inserting them into the T-branch collar.
The PND-54 is a natural complement to the T-DRILL collaring (T-elbow forming) system. It cuts a half-moon shaped die on both sides of the branch to ensure full flow and simultaneously presses it into a slot on the edge of the T-elbow, which acts as a depth wedge. A second slot 6 mm higher acts as a control point.
The PND-54 Notching Device is suitable for the following branch sizes: 12, 14-16, 18, 22, 22, 28, 28, 35, 42 & 54 mm and corresponding inch sizes: ½”, ¾”, 1”, 1 ¼”, 1 ½” & 2”.
