ND-54 Pipe Mouth Notching Device

The T-DRILL ND-54 Pipe Mouth Notcher is used to cut and slot branch pipe mouths to ensure the best possible flow characteristics.

The ND-54 is a natural complement to the T-DRILL T-elbow forming system. It cuts a half-moon shaped die on both sides of the branch to ensure full flow and simultaneously presses it into a slot on the edge of the T-elbow, which acts as a depth wedge. A second slot, 6 mm higher, acts as a control point. The result is an inspectable brazed joint with the best possible flow characteristics.

For the following branch pipe sizes: 12, 14-16, 18, 22, 22, 28, 28, 35, 42 and 54 mm and corresponding inch sizes: ½”, ¾”, 1”, 1 ¼”, 1 ½” & 2”.
