The collaring range of the TEC-150-8 machine is up to 219.1 mm (8’) for run pipes of 33.7-550 mm (1’’ - 20’” IPS). The machine opens the elliptical guide hole, forms a collar from the run pipe and straightens the collar to 168.3 mm (6’’). Guide holes wider than 168.3 mm (6’’) are burned manually, for example with a plasma cutting tool before inserting the pipe into the machine.

Changes compared to the main TEC-150 machine:

• Larger correction unit, lifting arm and positioning device for centering the guide hole/operated pipe relative to the machine.
• Larger machine spindle
• The standard machine cannot be extended to a capacity of 219 mm.
