The T DRILL TEC-150-8 HD is the most powerful collaring machine for Schedule 40 pipes. Collars can be made on operated pipes with wall thicknesses up to 12.7 mm (0.5’’) and lengths up to 168.3 mm (6’’). Larger branch size Ø 219.1 mm (8”) max. 6.3 mm (0.248”) wall thickness.
The TEC-150 HD Collaring Station is now more powerful and easier to transport than ever. The entire process, from pilot hole milling to a full taper branch, can be performed on a single workstation.
Collars can be formed in most ductile materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, copper/nickel, brass and aluminum. Depending on material thickness and elongation, collars can be made for SCH 40 pipes according to the capacity table shown in the Technical Data.

The TEC-150 SCH40 capacity table is for tool strength only. The table is not an indication for the following:
- collar quality
- wall thinning
- ability to withstand the collaring process of the material
